Weekend Forecast: Sun and Ski

After 39 straight hours of snowmaking which converted 12 million gallons of water to snow, the slopes at Wisp Resort are primed.  The weekend forecast calls for mostly clear skies with mild temperatures.  This is THE weekend to get outside and play! Here are the great ways to enjoy the snow at Wisp:

Skiing and Snowboarding

Currently, 25 slopes are open along with 2 terrain parks with a total of 17 features.  We've added an extra 4 hours of skiing and riding on Sunday with the slopes open until 9pm.  Check out our Daily Mountain Report for trail openings and chairlift operations.

The Mountain Park

We call them alternative winter activities and they are great for all ages and abilities!  The main attractions include snow tubing, ice skating and the mountain coaster.   Two aerial adventures will also be open this weekend - the Spider Monkey Adventure and the Chipmunk Challenge Course.

Kick the long weekend off with the Stage Wisp Concert Series on Friday at 6:30pm in Wispers Bar located in the McHenry Lodge.

Attention all freestyle skiers and riders - the BlackStrap Rail Jam Series #2 is Saturday, February 18 in Central Park.  Get the low down here.
