Cold Temperatures, Great Conditions!

What a beautiful morning we have had here in Deep Creek Lake.  For those of you headed out skiing this morning please keep in mind, wind is more prevalent and there is about a 2 degree difference in physical temperature from the base to the top of the mountain, so make sure to be prepared for this with proper winter attire to keep yourself comfortable. We will experience a decent squall of snowfall throughout the morning, clouds will soon give way to sunshine and it should remain clear for the rest of the evening.  That means a really nice layer of fresh powder for you!  That said, it is cold outside folks, and we cannot remind you enough - make sure to bundle up!  Snow Tubing will not be offered this evening due to low temperatures.  We made this decision to keep our guests and staff safe.  Thank you for your patience.  Planning ahead: another cold day tomorrow but it is forecast to be a sunny Blue Bird day.  We'll see you on the slopes.  :)
