Happy Fall Ya'll

It's Fall and that means we are one season closer to Winter - yippee!  In the next few weeks, Mother Nature will set off her fireworks with a spectacular display of Fall foliage.  Don’t miss the kaleidoscope of colors that will blanket the mountains of Maryland and surround Deep Creek Lake.

Make the newly renovated Lodge at Wisp your home base as you Peep Leaves!  We’ve put together a checklist for everyone to do in the next few weeks to experience the ultimate adventures of the most beautiful season in Western Maryland.

Top 10 Fall Favorites:

  1. Scenic Chairlift Ride (weekends only)
  2. Round of Golf at Lodestone or Fantasy Valley Golf Course
  3. Delight in Homemade Maryland Crab Dip and Pretzel Bites on Wispers Deck while taking in the colorful views
  4. Pontoon Boat Tour on Deep Creek Lake (weekends only)
  5. White Water Raft at the Adventure Sports Center on top of Wisp Resort Mountain (weekends only)
  6. Mountain Coaster Ride (weekends only)
  7. Buy a Cozy Fleece at Outdoor Elements Retail Shop in the Main Lodge
  8. Sit around the Firepit in the Courtyard at The Lodge at Wisp Resort
  9. Enjoy Autumn Glory Festivities October 9 - 13
  10. Wisp Resort's Oktoberfest Saturday, October 19

Check out Sip & Savor Magazine's article giving Wisp Resort a huge shoutout: "Deep Creek Lake might be the best year-round vacation destination in the country; Winter ski trips, springtime strolls, summer boat cruises, and autumn hikes under the changing leaves..." Wisp Resort, with slopes for skiing and snowboarding and adventurous activities year-round, is also a big draw." Maryland Sip & Savor Magazine.
