About The Athletes

Megan McJames:

Born in Utah, Megan feels most at home in the mountains.  Megan is a 3x Olympian (2010, 2014, 2018 Games) and the first American skier to pioneer a path to the Olympics after being cut from the national team; an inspirational journey chronicled in the film Trailblazer.

Megan spends her time searching for adventure and is passionate about sharing her love for the natural world with her husband and daughters.

Doug Lewis:

Two-time Olympian Doug Lewis is a former World Cup Alpine Ski Racer who won the Bronze Medal at the 1985 World Championships in Downhill – the same course the Men will compete on during the 2026 Olympics in Italy. As a Downhill skier, he reached speeds over 90 MPH and flew over 200 ft in the air in races! Doug now spends his time educating and inspiring young athletes through his ELITEAM Programs which teach mental toughness, fitness, and nutrition. He also continues to share his passion for ski racing as the Alpine Analyst covering World Cups. Finally, he is on a mission to continually push his mental and physical limits by competing in crazy Ultra races around the World – his next a 100 mile run coming in Aug of 2026 in Kitzbuhel Austria!
