Have you dug out your winter coat yet? We sure have. Along with our boots, gloves, hats, skis, and well… you get the gist. On the outside, the mountain is quiet and cool with the anticipation of the incoming winter lingering. The closer you get the more you see the hustle and bustle of work ramping up as we prepare for our 70th on-snow winter season.
We spent the weekend tuning up our gear from rentals to demos waxing, adjusting, and waiting for another week of cold temps and expected snowfall. Is your gear as ready for winter as we are? The Tuning Shop is officially open for the 2025/26 winter season Saturdays and Sundays from 10am – 4pm. Not to mention the full-service ski and snowboard shop Outdoor Elements right next door is open NOW on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am – 4pm. Stock up on technical and leisure outerwear, hard goods, including ski and snowboard equipment, logo wear, and souvenirs before you hit the slopes.
As we continue to keep our eyes to the skies and thoughts on snow, don’t forget there is only 2 WEEKS LEFT to secure your Mission Affordable 4-Pack of lift tickets at the lowest rate of the season. Available online NOW – Dec 1.
Ullr Fest – Mother Nature isn’t the only one we’re looking to for snow days this winter. Help us call on Ullr, the Norse God of snow, on Friday, November 28th, from 5 – 10:00pm, as we ask him for the snowiest winter yet.
This is the ultimate pre-season celebration on Maryland’s Mountaintop offers fun for the whole family. We’ll be celebrating Ullr, asking him for a fruitful winter with festive brews, live DJ’s, decorative offerings, and fire!
