New Season, New Snowmaking Capability

Last weeks cold front gave us a glimpse at cooler days to come, but as temperatures return to August’s sweltering heat, we figured it was time to cool you down with updates on the teams winter projects.

Updates on Grouse 

Our team has been hard at work breaking and re-building ground on Grouse and Possum slopes. New 8-inch waterline has been installed on upper portion of Grouse. With ground coverage complete, we will continue to connect all snowmaking vaults to new water line in preparation for installation of 10 brand new snowmaking guns. This means more snow and more coverage for seasons to come.

We concluded clean up and seeding of tree island creating a direct and open connection between Grouse Way, Squirrel Cage, and The Face – bringing you more open space to carve 🎿.

Updates on Possum 

Possum sees improvements with new lateral lines, 3 new TechnoAlpin vaults, and 3 snow sticks installed. Boots are on the ground preparing to install 13 more guns on Possum. Stay tuned for more updates on all of our efforts!
