Lodestone Golf Course

Lodestone Golf Course offers stunning views of Deep Creek Lake along with highlighting natural rock outcroppings. Notable holes include the downhill par-5 13th and par-3 17th that calls for a tee shot over a large gulley and a rock cliff that guards a sloped green. The various tees offer variety and challenge for every golfer.

Fantasy Valley Golf Course

Designed around the natural contours at the base of Wisp ski slopes, with breathtaking views of the mountains, this 6,446-yard, par 70 championship course ebbs and flows along tree-lined fairways and past strategically placed bunkers and water hazards. The multiple tees make it enjoyable and challenging for all players.

Essential Info 

  • U.S.G.A Rules govern all play.
  • Rates are per person and do not include taxes.
  • Golf rates at the Fantasy Valley Golf Course include greens and cart fees.
  • Golf carts are required on Friday, weekends, holidays, and other special days.
  • No one under 18 can drive a cart. Please keep a maximum of two riders and two bags per cart.
  • We always require appropriate golf attire, including non-metal spikes and collared shirts with sleeves.
  • No denim is permitted.
  • No practice pitching or playing with more than one ball.
  • Each player must have a bag and a set of clubs. Fivesomes are prohibited.
  • It is against Maryland Law to bring alcoholic beverages onto a licensed premise. All food and beverage must be purchased at Wisp/Lodestone. No personal coolers allowed.
  • Please repair all divots and ball marks and rake bunkers after play.
  • Avoid slow play! Be ready to hit when it’s your turn. Keep up with the group in front of you. Do not waste time between nines. Golfers stopping between nines forfeit their right to the 10th tee. Expect to play 18 holes in approximately 4.5 hours.
  • Above all, be courteous to fellow golfers and enjoy your round!

Designed for the beginner golfer learn the fundamentals of the game in a group setting at Lodestone Golf Course.

Each clinic will cover:

Short Game Instruction

Master pitching, chipping, bunker play, and putting with a focus on technique, decision-making, and consistency around the greens.

Full Swing Instruction

Develop a consistent full swing from tee to fairway, covering proper setup, swing path, ball contact, and key mental strategies.

Golf Rules & Etiquette

Learn essential rules and on-course etiquette to play confidently and respectfully.

  • All public and resort guests must give valid credit card information upon making a tee time.
  • Tee time changes (such as cancellation or reduction of players) made within the cancellation window will result in no penalty.
  • Groups of eight or fewer must make changes at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Groups of 9-15 must make changes 48 hours in advance.
  • Tee time changes outside the cancellation window will incur a $25 cancellation fee per person unless otherwise contracted.
  • “No Shows” will have their credit card charged the full green fee.
  • During inclement weather conditions, we will accept cancellations/adjustments until the time of scheduled play. Rain itself may not indicate the closing of the course. Rain checks will be issued pending the number of holes played.
  • If less than five holes have been completed and less than 1:30 hours from your tee time, we will give an 18-hole rain check.
  • If five holes have been played or 1:30 hours have passed since your tee time, we will give a nine-hole rain check.
  • If 13 holes have been played or 3:30 hours have passed since your tee time, we won’t give a rain check.
  • No rain checks will be given for twilight rounds.
